Be a Healthy Leader - You're Worth It

Leadership and education are not just about teaching others how to do things; they’re about transformation—both in the people we guide and within ourselves. A principle I learned early in my career, "Do first, then teach," has shaped my perspective over 15 years in leadership roles. It’s a simple idea but carries profound implications.


True leadership goes beyond skills and activities. It requires us to ask two vital questions:


  1. What impact are you having on people around you through your leadership?

  2. What changes are happening within you as a leader?


These questions, posed by a senior mentor of mine, have been a compass for my journey. They remind us that leadership is about the whole person—not just the output but also the attitude, thoughts, and spirit behind it.


Balancing the Two Dimensions


A singular focus on external results without personal growth can lead to burnout and strained relationships. Conversely, focusing solely on personal growth without considering the impact on others risks becoming self-centered. The magic lies in blending both dimensions:


  • External Impact: How are you positively influencing your workplace, family, and community?

  • Internal Growth: Are you developing kindness, compassion, health, and well-being?


When these two elements are in harmony, we experience not just professional success but a fulfilling and meaningful life.


Reflect and Act


As you reflect on your leadership, ask yourself:


  • How can I increase my positive impact on those around me?

  • How am I growing in character, resilience, and emotional health?


Leadership isn’t about perfection—it’s about perseverance. Blend these two measures thoughtfully, adapting to different seasons of life.


Keep Leading Well


Leadership is a journey of continuous growth and impact. Remember to nurture both your influence and your inner self.

New Coaching Programs for Leaders and Educators


In 2025, I’m excited to launch two new coaching programs designed to help individuals grow in both skill and character:


  1. New Leaders Program – For those stepping into leadership roles for the first time.

  2. Educators Program – Focused on empowering teachers to make a deeper impact in their schools and communities.


Coaching provides a personalised approach where you can ask questions, gain insights, and explore strategies tailored to your situation. If you’re ready to grow and lead well, I’d love to hear from you.




Building a Resource Library

The second initiative I am working on is creating a resource library designed to support leaders, businesses, schools, churches, families, and youth. This expanding center will provide tools, materials, and access to reliable providers. By collaborating, we can establish a community of shared resources that empowers individuals at all levels.




RTO Services

Our third service is offering support to Registered Training Organisations. The VET sector is the core of Australia's education system and consistently exceeds expectations, despite often being seen as secondary to universities. Although I appreciate both, the VET sector's skills, accessibility, and flexible nature provide immense value for both learners and educators. Explore how we can assist your team.
